Happy Monday! Before I mention my favorite travel products, I thought I would give you an update on our backyard. Our plan was to convert a small portion of our yard into a fun fire pit area. That was in addition to all of the landscaping we were doing over the summer.
Long story short, neither of the two companies we contacted provided quotes. One company didn’t even bother coming, and the other just never sent us a quote. It’s absolutely ridiculous! We have such a difficult time finding quality trades people. Do you have this problem? Ryan and I have decided we will have to conquer the project ourselves, which means it won’t happen anytime soon. If you have a favorite fire pit, I’d love to hear from you. So that’s the update, but I really wish it was complete!
Ryan and I are in countdown mode to vacation. Maui is just around the corner, and it’s time to start packing. The products I’m sharing today are some of my favorites. They are great for overnight stays and even trips abroad. I like to keep everything neat, so many of these are organizers. The rest are products that simply make traveling easier.
It’s no secret that I love these. These cubes, no matter where you purchase them, make packing easier. I have a bag for undergarments, one for shirts, and another for pants/shorts. The cubes are compact and easy to move from your luggage to a dresser. Less space, means less bags.
Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Towel
I received one of these towels as a Christmas present. The towel does a great job of absorbing water. As soon as I get out of the shower, I wrap it around my head. It really helps speed up the dry time. I actually use mine daily.
Basin Solid Moisturizer
I really don’t like lotion, but it’s super important to moisturize. I have come to love solid moisturizers. This one by Basin is easy to travel with, because it’s just like a deodorant stick. No more messes!
Tommy Bahama Swim Suit Cleaner
When we go to Hawaii, this is a must. I love to swim, and this cleaner is great for eliminating odors. We fill the tub with water, add cleaner, and throw our suits in. I just agitate the suits with my hands, rinse, and dry.
Woolite Fine Wash Packets
If you’re lucky enough to have access to a washer and dryer, I recommend packing these. Packets are much easier to transport. Depending on where you are headed, it could also save you money. Detergent isn’t cheap!
Tommy Bahama Duffel Bag
I’ve mentioned this bag many times before. I love that it folds up. We always bring this bag for souvenirs or in case we need more room on the way back.
My Pillow Travel Roll n Go Pillow
Another wonderful item I received as a gift! This pillow is amazingly comfortable. It’s perfect for overnight flights or for those of us that like to bring our own pillow. Some hotel pillows just aren’t comfortable or supportive.
Hanging Travel Organizer
I bought my organizer from Vera Bradley, but you can find one just about anywhere. This is, in my opinion, the best way to store toiletries.
Tech Accessory Organizer
Ryan purchased one of these before our trip back in February. Cords and headphones were always getting tangled in our backpacks. This keeps them neat and easily accessible.
We’d love to hear from you. Share your favorite travel products in the comments below. Happy travels!
