Hawaii is my favorite place! I could probably list a million reasons why the islands are my paradise. How about I share my Hawaiian themed Christmas tree with you instead? I started this tree several years ago, and it continues to grow. I always find several new ornaments for it when we travel to the islands or the beach. Many of the ornaments represent a memory, a favorite place, or elements of the islands. I’ve been given many of them too. This theme got a larger tree and new topper for 2017. There are still a variety of things I’d like to add to this tree, but I’ve got time to perfect it.
Here’s a closer look at some of the ornaments and the topper. The tree skirt is cream and blue. I found the pink clip-on poinsettias many years ago, and I wish I had bought more. I can’t find them anywhere! I think they add a tropical feel.
I found the ribbon at Michaels. It wasn’t actually what I wanted, but it was close enough. I should have bought ribbon during the summer, but I didn’t think about it. I plan on adding ribbon around the entire tree next year.
I love this tree, because it represents an important place in my life. Hawaii has a special place in my heart. I wish you and your family a Mele Kalikimaka.
Just love this tree! Hawaii holds great memories for our family as well. Mele kalikimaka to you and Ryan!
